Andromeda

The name Andromeda comes from the famous galaxy visible to the naked eyes from Earth, and it is inspired by the macroscopic and primordial beauty of light. The lamp has two different light sources, one directed to the bottom and one diffused to the top, which can be switched on or off separately. The diffused one is based on LED edge lighting technology and creates a starry sky effect thanks to 170 different-sized holes scattered along the lower surface. The bottom one, also based on LED technology, is accessorized by an innovative and simply-to-use interchangeable lens system.

Its long service life and the avoidance of light sources which require regular replacement are further reasons for its installation at difficult to reach places since maintenance is minimal.

Mi-480

Designed as a decorative light, the Mi-480 deals with the idea of a textured skin, creating layers of transparent, translucent and opaque patterns. The gradients of light and shade that result, give the surface a sense of visual depth which changes depending upon the viewing angle. 480 pieces of acrylic, varying in size are illuminated by a single light source, located in the centre. This further helps create the illusion of a richly textured skin. Carefully placed gaps in the skin allow for rays of light to escape through, creating their own patterns onto the surroundings.

Einstein

Einstein Bridge: Lighting Design Concept. The bridge serves as a link between two parts of a neighborhood in the north of Tel Aviv, close to the shore. Taking inspiration from the sea, the curves and height differences along the bridge are accentuated by linear lighting. The design also includes lighting sculptures of sea creatures, shadows in the form of anchors and whale tails, and colored light that brings the sea even closer to the users. This playful narrative is all the more fitting as the bridge is located in close proximity to a school.
