Embraced in Recycled Steel

Embraced in Recycled Steel is an architectural lighting design for an office building in Yamaguchi, Japan. Billet-shaped seamless LED fixtures are embedded within steel louvers, creating a rhythm of light across the recycled steel surfaces. Embrasse Moi

Halfway between art and design, Embrasse Moi is the majestic light sculpture whose name recalls the play on words between the English brass and the lamp's curved, enveloping shape. The suspension lamp has been handcrafted: a large sculpture in burnished brass that recalls the DNA strand, the weave of which unfolds like a fil rouge throughout the space, giving every project an artistic accent that makes it unique.

Longfang Bridge

Longfang Bridge is a nightscape lighting design for a road and pedestrian bridge in Wenzhou, China. The pedestrian bridges use warm 2200K light to contrast with the red structure, while the main bridge uses 4000K light for traffic. Wall washers and flood lights are hidden inside the structure. Three lighting modes serve weekdays, weekends and festivals. A control system switches lights off at midnight or when daylight is sufficient.

Solo Exhibitions Unlimited

Zhu Xiaodi Solo Exhibitions Unlimited is a light art installation for an exhibition space of 2000 square meters. Projection lamps cast clear line shadows with sharp boundaries and no distortion. Twenty-four lamps are combined into one unit at the center of the space. The unit is surrounded by lines and resembles a ball with sharp edges. The light covers the walls, the ceiling, the floor and the visitors. Ground illumination reaches 150 lux when all lamps are fully lit.
