Relio

The Relio is a professional lamp for Arts and Sciences. Portable, transformable and modular, accommodates a variety of usages: Cinema, Painting, School, Medical uses, Archaeology. Many parts are 3D-printed and many are open-source, to allow limitless expandability. Relio's light is engineered to be extremely similar to Sunlight, so that a professional can work under ideal lighting conditions almost everywhere, with very long service life and minimal-to-none maintenance.

Gates of Light

GATES OF LIGHT brings the monumental structures on the Afsluitdijk (legendary Dutch dike built in 1932) back to their former glory. In the dark, the architecture of these structures is illuminated by the headlamps of passing cars, reflecting the light through small prisms. If there are no cars on the road, the structures are not illuminated. This way of using light requires zero energy and does not contribute to light pollution.

Mozaik system

The mozaik system is made up of cables wrapped in vertical fabrics that are then separated by a fiberglass rod held by brass connectors. In these connectors the vertical cables receive the low-voltage current needed to power an LED bulb, which is covered by a hexagonal diffuser in fabric. The fabric of the tube as well as the electrical cables can be chosen in many variations of colors of the collection of the materials of the manufacturer. From the rhomboid shape of connectors, tube and cables, all kinds of compositions can be created in both height and length.

Linear Refraction

Linear Refraction series is customized lighting for Hotel 35. Located in Lishui, the capital of photography, Hotel 35 is the first design hotel in China which merged art village and tourism industry and create a new business model type. Artist Ray Teng Pai tried to explore the relationship between time, space, and person under the theme of photography. Linear Refraction series creates a contemporary composition of geometry in the hotel room, and responds to the photography of art.

Three Tree

Three Tree is a temporary art installation developed for the art event in Taipei. The art installation employs digital technology and bamboo dowels, which is the traditional Asian crafting material. Three Tree coheres the NTNU museum neighborhood rich cultural and ecological background and welcomes visitors to discover exciting cultural exchange.
