Silhouettes Lamp

Silhouettes

Silhouettes is a table lamp designed for additional lighting in homes and at the workplace. The lamp is 500 mm high and is formed by metal elements of the same shape in different scales, following the nesting principle of matryoshka dolls. These elements can be moved to change the appearance of the lamp. The elements can also be aligned in one plane, so the lamp packs flat and needs less packaging, material and transport space. A sphere of frosted glass at the center holds an LED board. The lamp is made of a metal frame, frosted glass and a fabric wire.

Canopy by Hilton Hotel

Canopy by Hilton

Canopy by Hilton Hangzhou Jinsha Lake is a hotel lighting design shaped by local culture. The lobby features a pendant inspired by the osmanthus, a local flower traditionally planted in front of homes to welcome guests, and heron light sculptures inspired by birds seen at the nearby Jinsha Lake. Hidden LED lights behind the front desk suggest the waves of the Qiantang River. Energy saving LED fixtures with a high color rendering index are used throughout. Public areas are lit at 3000K and guestrooms at 2700K. Hidden lights make the canopy bed frame appear detached from the wall and ceiling.

High Heel Church Lighting Design

High Heel Church

High Heel Church is a lighting design for a shoe-shaped building in a seaside park in Chiayi, Taiwan. The structure is about 17 meters high and 11 meters wide. Nearly 300,000 small glass pieces and 101 light fixtures are applied to the steel frame. Sunlight makes the glass flash during the day, while the wind moves the small pieces naturally. At night, calculated light angles give the building the look of a galaxy and make the heavy structure appear lighter. A light show with music is presented every hour, controlled by a DMX Art-Net system.

Weed lamp

Weed

Weed is a portable lamp inspired by the form of wild grass. The lamp has two parts: a base and a slim stem with a light on top. The base holds a wireless charging coil, and a receiver coil inside the stem collects the energy and charges the lamp. The outer shell is made by 3D printing in PLA, while the bendable stem is 3D printed in silicone around an iron wire. The lamp measures 110 x 95 x 460 millimetres.

Linear Refraction Desk and Ambiance light

Linear Refraction

Linear Refraction is a desk and ambient light created for a design hotel in Lishui, China. The lamp joins a linear LED tube to a crystal glass base sourced from Pujiang. The base holds a colored inner layer that refracts white light into many hues, recalling a rainbow. Two modes of use are offered. Placed horizontally, the lamp serves as an adjustable reading light. Set upright, the light glows within the crystal base to create a colorful atmosphere. A touch control switches and dims the light, and the last setting is remembered.
